Join Footprint SLC this March for weekly lunch and learns and hear from experts about how YOU can lower your impact and make smart, planet-friendly decisions that help to fight climate change on a daily basis!

Our fourth workshop in the series will be on SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORTATION presented by TEDx speaker and Canada’s expert on youth transit programming Dan Hendry!

During this session, participants will be given an introduction to the sustainable transportation alternatives accessible in Kingston. It will highlight the benefits of integrating sustainable transportation into your daily routine, including its positive impact on your finances, health, and the environment. Additionally, the session will cover information on utilizing public transit, emphasizing its suitability for SLC students and staff. This session will feature an on-bus segment where Dan will showcase the various features of Kingston’s public transit system. The presentation will include valuable information such as how to access the transit system, payment methods, incorporating bicycles and transit into your daily commute, and much more.
