Celebrating Peru's Independence Day

Last Friday, the Innovation Hub opened its doors to commemorate Peru's Independence Day, creating a vibrant gathering that united Peruvians living, studying, and working in Kingston. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, fostering a sense of community among all attendees.

The evening was filled with joy and pride as participants sang the Peruvian national anthem. The attendees also enjoyed a delightful array of traditional dishes, all lovingly prepared by those present. This culinary endeavour not only showcased the rich flavours of Peru but also emphasized the collaborative spirit that defines the community. A standout moment of the evening was the enchanting "Marinera" performance, a national dance characterized by its romantic and flirtatious nature. The dancer's elegance and skill captivated everyone!
